Not what I expected

So a friend and I went to Smithfield this morning to see an original Regency era dress and maybe a couple of other antique garments in their collection. That is not at all what we got. They let us look through as much of their collection as we liked, and while we never got to the Regency gown, we saw everything from late 1860's to early 1900's. We photographed and made notes until we started to feel a bit overwhelmed and agreed to quit for the day. We'll go back another time to see the rest. So it wasn't what I expected, but it was much better.

Now to type up my notes before I forget what they mean!
