There had been some discussion of doing something else costume-related Saturday after the Archery and Jane Austen event. Are there any actual plans? I would love to be able to join people for something that afternoon/evening and/or Sunday morning/early afternoon.

[livejournal.com profile] jenthompson had mentioned possibly having dinner somewhere in Regency attire, and it occurred to me that she might be able to salvage something out of the day if we could do that (assuming her commitments don't extend into the evening). Any ideas?

If there's anything I can do from a distance, let me know.

This may not be the best way to ask, but LJ was the only forum I could think of.

I can't even do anything in the evening. The art contest lasts all morning and into the afternoon... no clue how long - depends on how many judges they can round up. Right now they only have 25 of the 50 judges that they need, so with fewer judges, it takes longer to get everybody through their interview times. Then I have to be back up there at 6:00 to pick up the artwork. That's usually a wait too, and it's an hour away from home for me. Then I have to contact all the kids with their scores. It's hopeless for me. This is an all day event. :(

How about Sunday morning/afternoon? We could do costumed brunch or lunch somewhere.

I can't make it for brunch, but I could do late lunch, or tea.

Sunday is open for me if anybody wants to plan something, but I'll probably have to drag my kid with me. Mike works on Sunday. :/

Bummer! :( But if Sunday would work for you, I can make a later lunch or tea.

I had hoped, but I'm game for something Sunday as long as it doesn't run past about 3:00. I would have no objections to you bringing your son.

If there's anything I can do to help plan from a distance, let me know, but I've been away from the area too long even to be able to suggest a location.
