October Means Hallowe'en Costumes
Oct. 9th, 2014 06:21 amWhile I've had the fabrics for a couple of weeks, I finally got the pattern for the girls' Hallowe'en costumes on Sunday afternoon. I spent the next three evenings cutting everything out and started sewing last night. Now I've got two partial bodices and a partial skirt and a whole pile that only has pinned darts so far. There are a lot of little darts in the costumes this year!
The good news is that I figured out how to set up the TV for the channels here. The bad news is that sound travels much better in this house and the children don't want to go to bed so they complain about any noise I make right after they go to bed. Okay for reading or hand-sewing, not so great for machine-sewing.
