I think this is the first time I've seen someone link to something I've made as an example in a blog post. I'm amused. I'm also amused that the staircase seemed familiar before the skirt seemed familiar.

Your skirt is lovely! I'm kind of annoyed for you that she cropped you mostly out of the photo. I mean, imitation is the highest form of flattery, etc., etc., but it's a nice photo of you and your whole outfit.

Thank you. It would have been nice if she had made it link to the original photo at least.

Yeah, that would have been nice of her to do the link! As a photog, I always try to provide credit to people and photographers.

I'm not a photographer, but I always try to link things I post back to where they came from. It seems like the only polite (and copyright-friendly) thing to do. That, and it drives me nuts when people post pictures of pretty extant dresses, but you don't know where they came from.
