1919 Slipover

I finished the knit 1919 slipover. I realized when I laid it out for the picture that I still need to steam the trim around the arms. I abandoned the crocheted belt, but I managed to do the crocheted buttons and connectors and tops for the tassels so I'm pretty pleased with myself on this one. I'll have to get pictures of it on me, but it's done!

How cute! Good for you for doing the crochet bits. I'm not a crocheter and would probably have just changed those. Yours look great!

Thanks! I think I need to learn to crochet a little because I discard so many patterns due to crochet borders.

I bought a Wearing History reprint of a period pattern. It's available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/174407750/1919-ribbed-pullover-sweater-vest-pdf?ref=shop_home_active_3. I did mine with blue and green in place of turquoise and black, respectively. I don't know where the pattern originally came from, but I suspect it may have come from The Columbia Book of Yarns.
