Quilt Block

atherleisureI made another late 19th century quilt block right after I finished the beaded purse a few weeks ago.
While I like the way it looks very much, I wouldn't want to make a whole quilt with this pattern. Both this octagon and the square that goes between octagons start with joining eight stitches in the round. I wouldn't want to do that dozens of times.
