I finally took pictures of the linen skirt I made a couple of months ago.

1912 waist and skirt

It's the Wearing History 1912 skirt pattern (http://wearinghistory.clothing/1912-pleated-skirt-pattern-waist-26-1910s-edwardian/). It's one of the Archive Couture patterns, and it happened to come in my size. The mockup fit with no alterations I read the instructions three or four times before I started, but in the end, it wasn't bad to put together.

I was running short of fabric so I ended up piecing one of the side pieces. It occurred to me afterward that if I had done the regulation waist instead of the raised waist, that would have shortened the pieces just enough for me not to have to piece anything. I think the raised waist looks very period, though so I don't regret doing it.

The shirtwaist is also a Wearing History pattern that I made a couple of years ago. I haven't used many of her patterns yet, but I've really liked the ones I have used.

What a nice fit and flow. The left drape is very pleasing.

Looks lovely! The first thing I noticed was how great the raised waist looked. The draped bit with the pleats is such a nice detail.
