For something like a year and a half now I've had the linen and pattern for a new 18th century cap in the drawer I keep my current sewing projects in. How is it that I realized last night that I still haven't made it? And I can't even blame not doing it on being tired of rolled hems because I had more than six months between the last Georgian picnic and the time I started my 1610's garments.

Ah, well, I'll have the silly one tomorrow. Maybe after I finish the Christmas ornaments I'll make it. It would be a good project for working on while hanging out at my sister's house this winter. But I'll probably finish the spencer that's on hold first. I don't like UFO's lying around.
