Lousy Pictures

I got my husband to take pictures of my new 1880's dress, but they came out so badly that I don't want to post them. I won't be able to get him to take more without complaint so I guess I'll be back to the camera's timer. Or I need to find an event to wear it to where someone will photograph me.

But at least I know that I am very pleased with the dress. I think it came out very well.

Sorry the pics didn't turn out! I certainly know how that is, my husband has an expiration time when taking photos of me, ha! His life got easier when I bought a camera remote on Amazon for ten bucks. Is your camera remote-friendly? Might be worth looking into-- makes those costume selfies a thousand times easier!

It's good to know there's someone else whose husband is completely disinterested in costume photography. Actually, he's completely disinterested in anything to do with my hobby, but at least he's willing to watch the children when I go play dress up.

I'll have to check on the remote idea, because that would make life easier.

We just all need personal photographers! I always use a tripod and timer and it's tough running back and forth sometimes. Especially since my latest has a train.

I think I need to get to Dallas for one of your late Victorian events and prevail upon you to take pictures of me. Will you have pity on a photographically inept costumer? It doesn't help that I never really know what to do with myself.
