I did a ridiculous amount of cross-stitching on Friday and finished the seventeenth page of the "Street Scene" cross-stitch yesterday. The sky has fewer colors in it than everything else so it has gone really quickly.



That's 85% of the project finished.

So much sky. As much as one color would be simpler, several colors does give the sky more depth/interest.

There is plenty of texture to this picture. It looks really good, but it is slower than most cross-stitching. The end is in sight, and that is exciting.
