I started a German skating cap from a pattern dated 1908. It's super simple since it's just horizontal ribbing rather tightly knit. The pattern calls for 29 ribs on each side, and I've done 10 in the last two days. I actually think I'll need more, but we'll see once I've gotten through the prescribed number. I'm very excited to use up more of my leftover worsted weight green wool. I wonder how much I'll have left when this project is finished.

The pattern is here: https://littlegreybungalow.blogspot.com/2013/10/knitting-german-skating-cap.html

Next up a 1908 skating outfit, possibly with matching or complementary scarf and mittens?
