I’ve now been to Costume College four times. Every year people talk about how inspired they are to make things after Costume College, but I’ve never felt that until this year. This time I came away with several things that I want to do. The source of the inspiration is in parentheses.

1. Ruffled corset cover for 1900’s (Edwardian dipped waist treatment class)
2. Simple 1900’s or 1910’s embroidered bag/purse ([personal profile] koshka_the_cat’s bag)
3. Late Victorian work bag (not having a better bag than my Regency work bag to carry around all weekend)
4. Mid-1700’s boned bodice and petticoat ([personal profile] mala_14’s gorgeous bodice and petticoat)
5. 1930’s evening dress ([personal profile] mala_14’s velvet gown and to a lesser extent [personal profile] koshka_the_cat’s sequined dress and a casual remark about the Queen Mary and 1930’s clothes)

In the run-up to Costume College, I had already added the Wearing History Eloise dress to my list when I saw [personal profile] marianme make hers this summer.

ETA: I forgot to mention that Jessie Dove’s 1860’s dress also made me rather want another 1860’s dress.

Yes, to all of the things I saw pics of! And, looks like we both got the pattern! I can definitely see the dress on you. Kims' was so cute but I really need try out a mock up before I get my hopes up...
