I worked all afternoon and most of the evening Sunday knotting fringe. I finished last night. I'd estimate I spent about 15 hours to make three yards. I still need to trim it even, but I need to pin it on the dress to figure out exactly how long it needs to be. I'd like to get the foot pleating on first so that I know were the fringe falls relative to it.

Was that foot pleating attached above the hem to the outside of the skirt (so pleat and skirt hem about equidistant from floor)? Or is the skirt hem higher and the foot pleating attached at the bottom of the skirt hem giving more room for feet below?
