I was going to do one row of blocks on my cross-stitching before returning to the 1805 dress, but I got on a roll over the weekend and finished three rows of blocks, which finished the first page of the pattern. There are nineteen pages to go, but one page done feels really good. I did mention this would be a long term project.

Last night I got back to the 1805 dress and hemmed it. Now I need to lay out the motifs up the skirt and get back to embroidering. I feel like I'm so close to finishing the dress, even though I know it may be another month before it's finished.

A month of embroidery vs 17 more pattern pages, yeah, I can see how that feels like you're almost done. It's all relative.

Having all of my current projects be long and time-consuming things might not have been the best idea ever...
