Sweater

Over the long weekend I finished the second sleeve of my 1930's Benedictine tunic and got back to the body. I'm almost 4" below the waist, which puts me at the third increase row as it widens for the hips. I have discovered that I'm not a fan of knitting sweaters in one piece.

Sewing all together sounds like it gets bulky.

There's definitely a lot of sweater in my lap at this point. I'm glad I'm getting toward the end - 2" of plain knitting and then 7" of pattern. On second thought, maybe that's not so close to the end after all. At any rate, I'm getting close to the end of it being good reading time knitting with only 2" of plain knitting left.
