Knitting Finished

I finished the knitting on the waistcoat yesterday.



Today I started sewing it together. According to Ravelry, I started knitting on 1/16/21 so my goal is to finish by 1/16/22. It shouldn't be too hard to make that date since it's pretty straightforward assembly - shoulder seams, side seams, sleeve seams, set the sleeves, repeat for lining, sew around neck and front edges and hems, and tack lining to knitting in a few places.

Amazing! Getting this done in a year is pretty darn incredible.

If I had just sat down to knit this and not taken breaks for anything else, it probably would have been about seven months instead of a year, but it would also have gotten tedious and tiring.
