Speeding Along
Feb. 16th, 2024 11:33 amI finished the first side of the front of my 1920 tuxedo sweater. The back and one side of the front have taken four balls of yarn. I have eight so I’m in better shape than I feared when I started. Obviously, my yarn is lighter weight than the pattern called for, but I think it’s still in the realm of acceptable. After all, I live in a very warm climate. The question is how far my one ball and a trifle of white yarn will go. Is there enough for the collar and cuffs? I’m going to cast on the collar over the weekend and make that my lunchtime knitting. The one-piece sweater is getting too big to fit in my lunchbox.
