Shawl Progress

I finished knitting the body of the 1890’s shawl yesterday. I tried knitting the border directly into the shawl, but it wasn’t going on with enough fullness so I gave it up and cast off as the instructions said. Now to knit forty or more repeats of the border lace. That will be fun once I get to the point where I have the pattern memorized.
