New Cross-stitch Project
Jul. 8th, 2020 05:31 amAfter two weeks of solid knitting, I started to get a little tired of knitting every night. I've already finished a few garments in the last few months that I have no place to wear so I decided it was a good time to work on a cross-stitching project. I've made either felt applique or cross-stitched Christmas stockings for my children and my parents, and I decided it was time to make one for myself.
After one week of work, I had this:

After the second week, I had this:

Note that the first week had a three-day weekend, and the second week had a four-day weekend. I didn't spend all my free time on the stocking, though, since I took a wild notion and started making a simple dress on Saturday. I think I will probably finish it this weekend.
I still have a couple of completed projects to post about, but for the next few weeks, it will probably be cross-stitching updates, which are almost as boring to the casual observer as knitting updates. I do like seeing how the picture forms.
