Late 1860's Bonnet

After saying that I was going to make a Regency bonnet, I did the natural thing and made a late 1860's bonnet. I mean, I needed to make sure I didn't cut into the supplies for that in cutting out anything Regency, right? Besides, FIFO is a good thing, even if I'm really bad about it on sewing projects, and I've had this bonnet kit for over a year.
It's the Timely Tresses Clara Christine model done in gray (shot white and black) silk with velvet flowers and moire ribbon.

I hate trimming bonnets, but this one played very nicely. I'm really happy with how it came out. It almost makes me want to trim the early 1860's bonnet I made a year ago and get it out of the sewing closet. Almost.
