Openwork Stockings Begun

After I posted about an unsuccessful gauge with my new yarn, I realized that the 13 st./in. should have been for stockinette rather than the openwork pattern so I redid the gauge on size 4/0 needles and it came out to right at 13 st./in. That's good enough for me so I knit four repeats of the pattern (which came out to 9 st./in.), did the math, and cast on the first stocking. So far I've only done four rows of ribbing, but it's still something, and I'm happy I have a knitting project in progress again.
