With things that are really simple knitting and at least a 4-0 needle size, I can do it without looking at more than the first couple of stitches in a row. The Zouave thing I'm planning to make is a plain garter-stitch rectangle that is seamed to make it a vest-like object so it should be really easy. Then I have to buy yarn because I want to make more stockings. Those are really simple too.
