Split Skirt

Just a little progress update...
I don't know that I've mentioned it, but I'm working on an early 1900's bicycling outfit. I have finished the split skirt, though I'm waiting to take pictures of it until I have the sweater finished. The split skirt is from a pattern draft published in 1901, and the sweater is from a book published in 1901. I've finished knitting the body and one sleeve of the sweater, and I'm about 120 rows from finishing the knitting on the second sleeve. I've got a pattern for a split petticoat that I'm interested in trying, but I don't know whether I'll actually need it. The wool of the split skirt has a lot of body and may not need more support than full drawers underneath. We shall see.
