atherleisureI finished the 1860's dress over the weekend, and I want to try it on to make sure that it's ready to go, but I haven't had time yet. I've been hemming band concert dresses and tuxedo pants all week instead. I should be done with that now so I intend to try the dress on this afternoon.
I finished knitting what I can of the tuxedo sweater but haven't sewn anything together. I started a new 1940's cardigan and am through the ribbing and a few repeats into the pattern on the first side of the front. I do feel good about using up a lot of the yarn that I've bought in the last couple of years.
The costumer's guild outing sounds like it's going to be delayed since it was pouring yesterday and didn't finish raining until this morning. No one seems excited about playing dress up in the mud. There's a poll up for the new date. Maybe it'll end up being warm enough that I can wear my 1918 dress after all, even without having the tuxedo sweater yet.
