I was forgetting that after the ornaments are glued together, I still need to sew the cording around the edges. I glued things yesterday so I'll try to get the cording on tonight. At least the delays on the ornaments got me to work on my "Street Scene" cross-stitch a bit more?

I finished the knitting on the 1902 vest so I'm very excited about that. Now I have to do the crocheted edgings. I'm not very excited about that. I suspect this will end up being one of those projects where I set myself a daily quota. I guess I'll do a row or two and then decide what that quota should be.

In the meantime, I needed a new blind knitting project so I started a 1949 swimsuit that I bought yarn for this summer. No, I don't need another swimsuit, but they're so cute. It's borderline on being good for blind knitting since it's done with two colors. The pattern is pretty simple so I think it will be okay. It should be faster than the last one since it doesn't have a skirt. Then this morning Pinterest suggested an image of a German skating cap knitting pattern from 1908. There's a DFWCG ice skating outing in January for which I'm planning to wear a sweater knit from a pattern published in 1907 and 1908. That would truly be blind knitting (it's a horizontal rib rectangle gathered up with a pom-pom). I think I might use up some of my leftover worsted weight wool on that.
