Body Done

I finished knitting the body of the Studio cardigan on Friday and cast on the first sleeve. The pattern calls for knitting the sleeves onto the body of the sweater, but I’m knitting them separately because (1) knitting a sleeve onto the whole body of a sweater is a pain as it rotates around and around and (2) how do you block a cable pattern on a sleeve that’s knit in the round? No, thanks. I think this pattern was designed trying to minimize the sewing involved, but I really don’t mind sewing pieces together.

I intend to block the body tonight.
