I finished a formal dress for one of my daughters this week. I'll get pictures later. I'm glad to have that off my list, particularly since it was the closest deadline.
I fear I have too many plans for Costume College this year. I want to finish the 1826 promenade dress, which just needs a two thread eyes and two flounces; to make a pelerine to go with it; to make bathing shoes to finish the 1921 bathing ensemble; to make medieval smock, gown, wimple, and veil; and to make a 1930's dress. I could definitely get it all done in the next three months if I don't cross-stitch. But to some degree that's what I really want to do right now.
I'll give it another week or two of alternating nights on cross-stitching with nights on other projects and see where I am at that point. If it's not looking good, I'll just have to pare back my plans or do less cross-stitching.
