Modern Sewing

Modern sewing is so fast. I spent a lot of time sewing yesterday, but I was able to get a formal dress for one of my daughters mostly put together. It still needs fastenings, hemming down the bodice lining, a collar, and a hem. But that's all. It helps that it's designed to be machine sewn. It also helps that I don't have to wonder "how would they do it?" because I am "they" and can do it however I see fit.
