Aug. 19th, 2023 07:57 pmI finished another row of blocks on the cross-stitching. As I did that row, I ended up doing a lot of the stitches in the next row up so the third row on the third page is going pretty quickly.
Since the Eleonora stockings are done but my new yarn hasn't arrived yet, I cast on a cabled scarf that should use up the rest of the yarn left over from the Aran sweater I made six years ago. I made a hat last year, and I think this will be the last of that yarn. The pattern calls for bulky yarn so I figured it was the best thing I was likely to find to be suitable for Aran weight yarn. I just don't usually use yarns that heavy. I really am trying to focus on the cross-stitching so I don't expect to work on it too much right now, but it's good to have a knitting project in hand.
