Failed Swatch

I'm nearing the end of my pinball so I thought I'd swatch a sweater while I was waiting in the airport for my flight home the other day. I didn't really like the swatch, and I realized I was only really trying to use that pattern because I already had it, not because I really liked it. If I'm going to spend dozens of hours knitting a sweater, I ought to like it going into it.

I decided to buy a pattern so I'm going to make this instead:

It's worth $1.50 to knit something I like the look of.
