First Quadrant Finished

I've been doing a lot of cross-stitching and knitting lately. Last night I finished the first quadrant of my cross-stitch piece. It's called "A Treasured Time." It's going faster than usual since most of it is half-cross stitch. That doesn't make it twice as fast as the normal pieces, but it's still a significant increase in speed.



I used to spend all of November and December every year doing Christmas needlework, but I've gotten away from that the last few years. I have about three Christmas cross-stitch pieces in my stash so I'm trying to get back to spending at least a fair bit of my free time on Christmas needlework during the holidays. So far I think it's been a good balance.
