Hallowe'en checked off

I've finished the girls' Hallowe'en costumes. They wanted to be rock stars, especially after my mother told them they could spray their hair colors.

They picked all the fabrics. I had nothing to do with it except for banning something that was $25/yd and sewing everything together.



The boy wanted to be Percy the tank engine, but since my artistic ability approaches zero, I took the easy way out and bought him a costume. There was no way I could make him anything that would look decent, and while there are some interesting tutorials out there for building engines for kids to wear, I'm not crafty. He's cute anyway, and he'll wear jeans for the actual night. Since the girls were having their picture taken, of course, nothing would do but that he put on his costume and have his picture taken too.



I don't yet know what I'm going to wear, but I've got four new dresses that have never been worn (counting the remodeled dress that hasn't been worn since being remade) so I've got options and lots of time to think about it.
