Nothing Much
Jul. 29th, 2015 04:33 pmI've been binding away on my stays and I'm more than half-finished with the tabs. Give me a few more days, and I'll be done with that. Assuming no hiccups, they'll be lined and finished by the end of the week.
I've also been knitting away on my pinball project, and I finished the knitting on the first half. I'm not posting pictures now because I'm making this one as a gift, and I don't want to share until it's in the recipient's hands. I will share later.
I've made lots of progress on the girls' Hallowe'en costumes. They both want to be very gaudy rock stars so the sewing isn't very interesting, but it's going quickly. The tops just need the sleeves set and the armscyes bound (sheer fabrics having a way of being prickly, you know), the skirts still need waistbands and hems, and there's some hemming on other pieces, but at the rate I'm going they'll be finished by the end of the week next week. Then I'll wash the tablecloth that is being inundated with glitter.
