As promised, here's a picture of the front of the 1930's bathing suit I'm working on.



I gave it a light pressing, but the sides are still inclined to roll as is the bottom of the skirt. Once it's hemmed, it shouldn't be an issue any more. I'm a third of the way through the skirt back, having joined in my last two balls of yarn about ten rows ago. The rest of the yarn shipped yesterday. They were speedy.

The anchor is what drew me to this particular suit. I loved doing it too. It was like doing the 18th century pinballs except at a much larger scale.

It's darling! The anchor is such a cute detail. And I love the colours you chose. The ribbing at the waist and bottom of the legs is neat.

Thanks. I liked the colors too and had a good time doing the anchor. I’ve seen other things with ribbing at the waist to fit more closely without having to reduce stitches and then increase again.
