Back Finished

I finished embroidering the back of the skirt to a couple of inches short of the edge. Now a row of blocks on my cross-stitching, and then it will be time to seam the skirt front to the back. There will be actual sewing on the dress.

I figure I’m roughly halfway through the embroidery. The front is about 60% of the width of the back but has the six separate motifs too. The back, waistband, and sleeve bands are done. I’ve been working on it for...10 weeks? I’m not sure, but it can’t be much longer than that. (I could look it up but don’t feel like it at the moment.) Anyway, I think I’m on track to finish by Memorial Day.
