Cross-stitching Progress

It's time to get back to cross-stitching updates, though I expect they'll be slower than they had been for awhile. I'm getting a little time to sew but not a lot.

Here's where I was the last time I posted in late September:


Now I've started the top of that side of the picture.


Since this picture is very wintry, I think I'm going to work on it for the rest of 2022 instead of switching to any kind of Christmas needlework. I've already done the kids' Christmas ornaments for the year. I'll post them later.

Oooh, there’s more. I’m kind of hoping for more dogs, but dogs in trees or on the roof does not seem likely.

It does seem improbable. It seems more likely that they would be on the other side of the bridge.

I think anything with snow looks very Christmasy : )

It seems that way to me too, but I sometimes wonder whether I wouldn't associate snow so strongly with Christmas if I had grown up some place that actually gets a lot of snow in the winter.
