After a couple of really long knitting projects, I pulled out yarn for a quick two-day project. I made the Punchinello knitting needle caps from the 1896 edition of Weldon's Practical Needlework. They were fun and rather timely since I did them in Mardi Gras colors.



Maybe now I can settle down to cutting a mockup of a 1940's dress.

Hats for knitting needles?! The Pom poms for the win. Super cute

Thank you. The idea is to stick them on the ends of the needles so the stitches don't fall off. I haven't tested them out yet, but I thought I'd try them whenever I get around to casting on the veil I'm planning to do next.
