Evening Bodice

For reasons that are not quite clear to me, I made an evening bodice to go with my c. 1870 white skirt. I saw the ribbon for the belt at Costume College and immediately wanted to make this.

It's so pretty! The pure white and blue gives it such deceptive (I'm sure) simplicity.

"To get it out of your head" is a perfectly valid reason for any creation.

Looks lovely! The reason you needed to make this is totally clear to me: the world needed more beautiful things in it. :)

Very pretty, and excellent reason for making it!

Because, of course, a Victorian skirt needs two bodices! Looks very pretty.
