New Regency Dress

I finished a new Regency dress recently. I was shooting for right around the year 1800. It's cut from a vintage sari that I got a few years ago. I think it's a silk cotton blend. The bodice is lined in linen. It's a combination of machine- and hand-sewing. I made things up more than I usually like to because I had a view of what I wanted it to look like and went searching for proof that I wasn't too far off base instead of finding something I wanted to more or less copy so I wouldn't be surprised if it's not as accurate as one would hope.

Nice use of border trim and the print is adorable.

So pretty! I really like the crossover styles. And you made lovely use of the patterned ends.
