Shawl Finished

I sewed the lace edging onto my shawl so it is officially finished. It took nearly four 50g hanks of laceweight yarn and is almost as wide as a queen-sized bed.



You do lose some of the pattern visibility when you fold it in half, but it's still very pretty.

My first reaction was "It's gorgeous!" and my second reaction (when I saw the photo on the bed) was "It's HUGE!". It's a stunning piece - beautiful work!

Thank you. I hadn't realized how big it was until I cast off since up to then it was bunched up on a circular needle.
